Terms and conditions
Last updated: 20 August 2026.
1. Identification and purpose
These terms govern the application for, purchase and use of memberships, courses, events, digital resources and other services offered by Asociación Uniting Souls, Tax ID (NIF) G01863752, with registered address at Rambla Francesc Macià, 18, 7.º B, 08226 Terrassa (Barcelona), telephone 653 022 042 and email hola@asociacionunitingsouls.com.
Before confirming a purchase, users will receive specific information about the service, total price, frequency, duration, payment method, access, cancellation and other specific conditions. In the event of any contradiction, the specific information provided before payment shall prevail.
2. Types of participation
The website may offer free and paid options, such as supporter, volunteer, Student Member (Socio Alumno) or Professional Collaborator Member (Socio Colaborador Profesional). Acceptance of an application may be subject to review and to the requirements established by the Association.
Under the Association’s Statutes (Chapter II, art. 6.1), the Professional Collaborator Member falls within the statutory category of Collaborating Member (Socio Colaborador) (someone who participates by offering advice, technical support or resources for the Association’s projects), and the Student Member falls within the statutory category of User Member (Socio Usuario) (someone who has received training from the Association or a partner entity). Both options therefore confer statutory member status, without prejudice to the fact that they also include contracted benefits (courses, content, directory or events) subject to these terms and to consumer law where applicable.
Where an option confers the legal status of member, it shall also be governed by the Association’s Statutes, validly adopted resolutions and the law on associations.
3. Requirements
To purchase or apply for membership, the person must have sufficient legal capacity, provide truthful information and accept the applicable terms. Minors may only participate where the activity permits it and with the necessary authorisations.
4. Registration or purchase process
- Select the membership option or activity.
- Review the features, price and conditions.
- Complete the mandatory fields.
- Separately accept the terms, the privacy policy and, if desired, commercial communications.
- Confirm payment using a button that clearly indicates the obligation to pay.
- Receive confirmation on a durable medium, usually by email.
The Association may reject applications due to unmet requirements, false information, incompatibility with its aims or rules of conduct, or justified security reasons. Where a payment has already been made and the application is not accepted, the corresponding amount will be refunded via the payment method used, unless another solution is accepted by the person concerned.
5. Prices, taxes and payments
The total price and frequency will be shown before purchase, on the Memberships page. Amounts will include applicable taxes or clearly indicate how they are treated. No optional extras will be charged without express consent.
Payments are processed through ThriveCart, with Stripe as the payment gateway. The Association does not store full card details, which are handled directly by the payment gateway.
6. Duration and renewal
Recurring subscriptions will renew for equivalent periods where this has been clearly stated before purchase. Users may disable renewal or cancel through their customer area in ThriveCart or by writing to hola@asociacionunitingsouls.com, while retaining access until the end of the period already paid for, unless a more favourable rule is stated and agreed.
Cancelling a service subscription does not necessarily mean ceasing to be a member, nor vice versa, unless the option is legally configured as a single relationship. The Association will explain this distinction before registration.
7. Right of withdrawal
Where the purchaser is a consumer and the law recognises this right, they may withdraw from the contract within the legal period of fourteen calendar days from its conclusion, without having to give any reason, by writing to hola@asociacionunitingsouls.com or using the form provided.
If you expressly request that a service begin during the withdrawal period, you must pay, where legally applicable, the proportional part already provided up to the time you notify your withdrawal.
In the case of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal may be lost once performance has begun only when the legal requirements are met, including prior express consent to begin and acknowledgement of the loss of the right. This exception will be clearly indicated before payment.
To: Asociación Uniting Souls, Rambla Francesc Macià, 18, 7.º B, 08226 Terrassa (Barcelona), hola@asociacionunitingsouls.com:
I hereby give notice that I withdraw from the contract for [service], purchased on [date].
Name: [ ]. Address: [ ]. Email used: [ ]. Date: [ ]. Signature, only if submitted on paper: [ ].
8. Cancellations and refunds
Cancelling renewal prevents future charges, but does not in itself entitle you to a refund for a period that has already begun, without prejudice to the right of withdrawal, a cancellation attributable to the Association or other legal rights.
If the Association cancels an activity without offering an equivalent alternative accepted by the user, it will refund the amounts paid for the service not provided. External costs —such as travel or accommodation— will only be covered where expressly stated or legally required.
The specific conditions of each event will set out the deadlines for cancellation, participant substitution, date changes, force majeure and refunds. No condition shall limit consumers’ mandatory rights.
9. Access to Circle and external platforms
Certain benefits are provided through Circle or other platforms. Users must create or use an account and respect the community rules and the provider’s terms. The Association will provide information before registration about access, technical requirements and relevant data processing.
10. Community rules
Respectful, safe conduct consistent with the Association’s aims is required. Harassment, discrimination, threats, impersonation, unauthorised advertising, disclosure of confidential information, unlawful content and practices that put others at risk are not permitted.
The Association may moderate or remove content and suspend access in the event of non-compliance, seeking to apply proportionate measures, explain the reasons and offer a channel for appeals where appropriate. The effects on fees and benefits will be resolved according to the seriousness of the breach, these terms, the Statutes and the law.
11. Professionals and directory
Inclusion in a professional directory does not in itself constitute a recommendation, a guarantee of results or an employment relationship with the Association. Professionals are responsible for keeping their details and qualifications up to date and for explaining to users who provides, invoices and is responsible for their services.
The Association may check basic information and set admission criteria, but the scope of verification will be stated transparently. Any service contracted directly with a professional will be subject to their own terms, unless it is expressly stated that the Association is the provider.
12. Wellbeing and safety
Wellbeing and personal development programmes do not replace healthcare. Participants should assess their own situation and share only the information necessary to ensure their safety. The Association may advise against participation or request professional authorisation where the nature of an activity justifies it.
13. Intellectual property
Materials are provided for personal, non-commercial use. They may not be shared, recorded, resold, published or reused beyond permitted uses without authorisation. Rights to content contributed by users remain with their owners; users only grant the authorisations necessary to provide the service and moderate the community, as detailed on each platform.
14. Incidents and complaints
For enquiries, incidents, cancellations or complaints, you can contact us at hola@asociacionunitingsouls.com, by telephone on 653 022 042 or by post at the address indicated. The Association will acknowledge receipt and respond within the legally applicable time limits.
Alternative dispute resolution mechanisms or consumer arbitration: To be confirmed by the Association.
15. Amendments
These terms may be updated due to legal, technical or service changes. Amendments will not have detrimental retroactive effects on contracts already concluded. Where they significantly affect an ongoing subscription, reasonable advance notice will be given and the corresponding rights will be recognised.
16. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. In the event of a dispute, the courts determined by law shall have jurisdiction. If the user is a consumer, they may go to the courts of their place of residence where the law so provides, and no waiver of that protection will be imposed on them.
